We offer full school year programmes and school terms in schools specially selected by SEPA in the Counties of Wicklow, Wexford and Kildare. They are all near Dublin to facilitate the transfer from the airport. Studying English in the countryside of Ireland adds on different values to the experience and, although the academic system has the same high standards, the closeness to nature and the sense of community is at its highest level.
Wicklow, called by the Irish the garden of Ireland is renowned for its spectacular nature and its 40 shades of green. Wexford, capital of the Irish “Sunny South East” is the favourite holiday resort for Dubliners. Kildare, homeland of the famous Irish horses, houses the most important race courses on the Emerald Island. They are all counties with their own identity that make the school year or school term an only and unforgettable experience.
The school year in Ireland starts the last week in August and finishes the last week in May, except for Leaving Certificate students. This programme is the best option to gain a good level of English which culminates by sitting a Cambridge exam, usually B2, that we complement our students with. This amazing linguistic immersion programme is available in boarding school or day school, staying with a carefully selected Irish host family.
There are two school terms to choose from, from the start of the school year the last week in August until Christmas holidays in December, which is the most popular one since there is no need to validate the studies, or from January to the end of the school year at the end of May. This programme is available just in day school, staying with a carefully selected Irish host family.
